CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL COMPETITORS!
Canberra once again provided a terrific cross section of racing with hot, testing conditions for the ITU juniors followed by perfect still water and cool morning racing for the Australian Olympic Distance Championships. One of many highlights of the weekend for Canberrans was witnessing 2009 ACT Triathlete of the Year, Michael Gosman, gaining selection on the Australian team to compete at the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore later this year. Michael finished 4th outright ITU junior male and 1st "Youth" (17 & 18yo) - earning his place on the Oz team! Congratulations to Michael and to Shane Farrant and Adam Rudgley who all represented ACT in the ITU Junior Male event - all boys posted personal best results for this event!
